You refer to lyanna as a child a lot
RUNNING. Yes, I do. Child, childish, adolescent ;; I use them all & quite often & do you know why? Because lyanna is a CHILD. my main verse has her at fifteen before she goes with rhaegar & that’s aged up about a year but she is still considered a child. It does not matter if she has bleed or not ;; she is unmarried regardless of her betrothal for the future, she lives with family & she is still treated as a child. I will allow that she’s more on the cusp of womanhood than being a full child & she’s addressed as a child-woman in the books as in HALF & HALF but even that term is used when she’s sixteen & it’s lamenting about her death. she was on the cusp when she died.
some people might find it odd that i use the terms listed above as well as the child-woman but that’s what she is & there’s no getting around that. I’ve seen many lyannas come & go that portray her closer to that of an adult & that’s something that I, personally, have never understood, because the main thing about lyanna isn’t her beauty or her personality ;; it’s that she was young, she was still considered a child when she died so she should be even more so when alive.
I don’t know if you were simply making an observation or a complaint or what but I do refer to her as a child & I will continue to do so because I refuse to erase such a major part of her & her story line.
